7 Days 'til Halloween: Halloween Heros!

Niece Devin and sister Megan stopped by today and surprised me with a new Michael Myers mask! Yep, the much nicer one I almost bought yesterday. Halloween is saved!

This one's been nailed down.

I'm still going to dress up like Donald Pleasence and search the streets every night this week anyway, just because it seems too much fun not to.

  2. Awesome to have family come to the rescue! :)

Hope the thief is found and you can work him/her into next years display and have a real forgotten prisoner!!

Way to not give up! That would be the biggest crime of all! Not even close to your house, but I'm sure I speak for everyone that your work is much appreciated, Mr. Lowe! Wish I could see everything in person because I'm sure your blog doesn't do it justice.

I almost can't stand walking into Halloween stores these days.. The over charged prices, poor mans animatronics that are over $300 and could be made a lot better by an amateur, etc! I've always wanted to swing by the HUGE Halloween stores I see on my way to Disneyland in Anaheim, but I'm not sure they would be any better!

Happy Haunting! Display is looking rad so far!

  4. Glad to see Michael is up and running, and that you have a really cool family to help you out of your understandable funk!

Maybe Donald Pleasance's voice should come out of the bushes: "Hey kid, get the f--- out of here!" would help...

  7. Dave, You sure have a handsome family, but cmon, your sister Megan can do better than Mike Meyers! He is a murderer for gosh sakes!

  8. I'm so glad you were able to get a replacement! Family can be quite the blessing. I'm happy to hear your turn of events had a happy ending. Still, I can't believe people would ruin someone's lawn decor. :(
